Cheryl Wagner is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Delaware who has been practicing since 2017. She graduated from Liberty University, a Christian-based university. Cheryl has experience with anxiety, depression, teen issues, couple issues, life transitions, grief and loss, and substance abuse. She offers a warm, inviting, person-centered approach. Cheryl is skilled in systemic models, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Christian Counseling, Solution-focused therapy, Trauma, Grief/loss, and relapse prevention. Outside of work, Cheryl is passionate about helping animals and the environment.

Individuals come to counseling for help with multiple areas of concerns ranging from dealing with depression, trauma, anxiety and suicidal ideation. This means that counselors as myself have to be readily available to help clients overcome the challenges they are facing due to these kinds of issues. My mantra is simple, provide real help by being transparent, open, honest and a great listener! I am a strong believer in Christ Jesus, and I offer Christian counseling to those in need of this type of counseling services.

Whether it’s brief, solutions-based counseling, or longer ongoing deeper therapy, our sessions are about you and your needs. Along with our sessions together, I love to offer clients educational ideas to empower them to learn, heal, and grow at their comfortable pace. My relaxed demeanor and experience working as a former lead group educator in an acute dual-diagnosis psychiatric hospital has allowed me to work with diverse populations and their important goals with great care.

My perspective of therapy is that it is all about the client. These individuals seek real assistance for issues that are critical to them. Each client is individual. I customize a treatment plan to meet the client's need. Each client is unique and their issues are important to them. As a Therapist, true commitment to my client is essential to their progress. I believe that working with the client to accomplish their goals and going above and beyond is key. Hello, my name is Sarah Betts. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor working in Seaford, Delaware. My work experiences have allowed me to assist children, adolescents, and adults with mental health struggles. A perspective that I hold to is that life can be challenging but there is no need to go through it alone. Another belief that fuels my work is the acknowledgment that there can be negative situations but there is always an opportunity for redemption and a good outcome. I work with older adolescents and adults who want or need a change in their life but might not know how to go about it.

As a professional counselor, trained in spiritual counseling, I have 15 years of experience offering services as a mental health professional to those who are seeking to apply mental health, psychological, or human development principles. My ideal clients are those who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and lack of self-esteem, as well as those transitioning through or contemplating major life changes.
