Whether it’s brief, solutions-based counseling, or longer ongoing deeper therapy, our sessions are about you and your needs. Along with our sessions together, I love to offer clients educational ideas to empower them to learn, heal, and grow at their comfortable pace. My relaxed demeanor and experience working as a former lead group educator in an acute dual-diagnosis psychiatric hospital has allowed me to work with diverse populations and their important goals with great care.
Clinically, I rely on scientifically based treatments, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused (the gold standard for couples counseling) as well as Life Coaching.
If requested, I provide Christian counseling; I have over 20 years experience in pastoral/biblical counseling, a graduate degree from seminary and a Ph.D.
