Hello! My name is Maggie Bremmer and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor affiliated with Transformative Wellness. We are an outpatient behavioral health team that provides services to Warren County and surrounding areas. We are founded on the vision of guiding individuals in the transformation of self, convictions, and lifestyles to live more fulfilling lives.

Constant overthinking and worrying, poor self-esteem, people-pleasing tendencies and depressed mood. If this describes something that you are going through, you don't have to go through it alone. I work with men and women from an attachment lens, which is a therapy word for saying that I focus on your early childhood years and how they impacted your daily life. If you find yourself overanalyzing the amount of work you put into your relationships and feel you give more than you're receiving, we can work through how to get you to a secure place within yourself without seeking external validation from others.

I work with adult individuals, couples, families and groups. I adopt a holistic approach, seeing my role as advocate for my clients' optimal functioning and wellness. I strive to help clients connect with their personal power, to live mindfully, and to build resilience in the face of life's stressors. I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, relationships, and Post Traumatic stress. I have trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, but am anchored in the Humanistic and Cognitive Behavioral schools. My specialized training includes EMDR, ACT therapy, and the Enneagram. I have also received L1 Gottman Method Couples Therapy training.

I focus on relationships–with your significant other, family, friends, work, and even yourself. My passion & best work is with those facing life’s difficulties far too long, physically & emotionally drained, and feeling there’s no way out of the storm. You’re everything to everyone, always busy while feeling like you’re getting nowhere; all while looking like you have it all together. It’s overwhelming. You may never feel good enough. You may not find time to take care of yourself…or feel guilty when you do. That’s where I come in, to help you put yourself as an individual or as a couple first and find calm in the chaos.

As a therapist, I want to empower my clients to be the best version of themselves, while also showing love and compassion for their flaws, because hey, we're all human! I utilize Cognitive-Behavior Therapy approaches, including Person-centered, Solution-Focused, Mindfulness, and Strength Based modalities. I like to use creative tools to help aide the treatment process, such as art, music, and writing. I focus on providing individual therapy, therefore I do not offer family or couples counseling.

I do not believe in a one-size fits all therapeutic model. I believe that we were each created with unique characteristics and given circumstances that need individual attention. I am strategic in session planning and in helping clients based on their specific symptoms and needs. Since I believe in a holistic approach, I help my clients to create individualized treatment plans that will assist in breaking free from destructive thinking and behaviors while creating an increased sense of peace and balance in mental, physical, and spiritual health.

As a clinical psychologist I have 30 years of experience helping clients create a more satisfying life. Within my office you will fine a safe and nurturing environment that invites open expression. I see myself as a partner in your journey, working collaboratively to develop a personalized plan for your specific needs. My style is warm, empathic, engaged, and non-judgmental. I apply knowledge from brain research for interventions that promote effective emotional regulation, problem solving, and relationship functioning. My treatment orientation is a combination of Cognitive Behavior, EMDR, and Mindfulness Therapies.

The goal of BRIGHT Counseling Services is to help individuals discover how to establish an effective and healthy identity. Breanna believes that identity is impacted by many factors and takes time to understand how you, as an individual, have been impacted by life experience. Through evaluating your beliefs, your behaviors, and your thoughts, Breanna works to help you understand yourself and your brain. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC). I have seven years of experience providing mental health and addiction services to individuals with a range of life experiences dealing with trauma. I cannot wait to get started with you on your healing journey!
