I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Nevada since 2004, and I have a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and am a Licensed Psychologist in Nevada. I primarily provide Cognitive, Diagnostic, Psychological and Psychoeducational testing to children and adults. I also provide individual therapy only on a cash pay basis, or through straight FFS Medicaid, when my schedule allows.

In my experience over the past 30 years, I have learned that psychotherapy and Western medicine are often at odds. Western medicine has its miracles for which I am deeply grateful, but I believe that many children and adults are given medications for trauma-based symptoms before other healing practices have been explored. I make it my practice to help my clients learn awareness of all that contributes to their states of mind and body, and then to teach skills and practices that create freedom from symptoms.

I typically assign activities between scheduled sessions, that we can discuss during the following session. I have found clients enjoy having resources outside of being in session. I have also found providing telehealth (video) therapy, to be very beneficial for clients.
