Welcome to my page! I am a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor who specializes in the treatment of substance/alcohol use disorders from a trauma-based perspective. I have several years experience treating substance use. Utilizing a variety of evidenced-based theories, clinical interventions, personal experience and empathy, I offer individual and group therapy for adolescents, adults and professionals struggling with substance use disorders. I promote meeting the client where they are at and have a genuine, person centered approach in transitioning clients toward freedom from substance/alcohol use disorders.

I am an eclectic therapist well suited to treating adult and adolescents impacted by substance abuse and mood disorders. I have extensive experience engaging, individuals with co-occurring disorders. All substance abuse, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, and personality complications are accommodated. Adults and teens having functional challenges in multiple contexts will find comfort in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Reality Therapy constructs; tailored to their specific circumstances and implemented collaboratively to assist resolution to legal, familial, employment complications that are impacting their lives. Family involvement and consultative relationships will be utilized to optimize ideal outcomes.

I am a licensed clinical social worker who uses a holistic approach to improve the mental, emotional and behavioral well-being of my clients. I hold a Master's Degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University, specializing in healthcare, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University at Albany, where I graduated with high honors from the School of Social Welfare.
