Hi, my name is Megan Wolff. I am a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and Provisionally Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Nebraska. In Iowa, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I am ready to help you on your journey. I help individuals with mental health concerns, substance use concerns, and co-occurring disorders.

I believe each person is the expert in their own experience and view my role as a co-pilot on the path to healing and self-exploration. I work with adolescents and adults with varying experiences such as substance use, trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, identity exploration, and burnout. I believe co-creation of therapy goals is vital to forging a path uniquely tailored to meet the needs of each person with whom I work.

I have experience working with adults and adolescents who have mental health and substance use issues. I work well with clients who are struggling with depression, substance use issues, mood instability, relationship issues, self-esteem, anxiety, anger, and just feeling "off." Together we will look at what works for you, what isn't working for you, and how to change this. You will be doing the work, I will help guide you and provide tools as needed.

With over 15 years of experience, I am dedicated to supporting individuals and families through their toughest obstacles as a Provisional Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I prioritize cultural awareness and empathy in my work. I am currently dedicated to assisting individuals in overcoming alcohol and substance use and abuse, as well as various well-known behavioral addictions such as gaming, hoarding, and internet addiction. I strongly believe in taking a holistic approach to treatment, addressing both the addiction and its root causes, while prioritizing the overall well-being of my clients.

I believe therapy is a process that takes effort from both the client and the therapist working together to achieve the client's goals. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapies, I show my clients how they can replace their current thoughts with more positive and adaptive thoughts, which will change their mood and behaviors. I believe that clients have control of their treatment and can achieve a lot more than they think they can. I will work with clients in providing the skills that will help them achieve their goals. I am licensed in both Iowa and Nebraska and can diagnose co-occurring disorders.

I enjoy working with older children, adolescents, and adults. I utilize a trauma-informed approach when working with clients. I also have experience working with divorced families, blended families, and families going through significant life changes.

Unfortunately, everyone experiences painful events at times in their life. Helping people to rebuild their lives back to what it was before or building a whole new life is something I have enjoyed doing for over 20 years. I enjoy working with people by addressing a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, substance use and other addictions, various types of trauma, relationships, divorce, unresolved grief, co-dependency, and anger management to name a few. I accept most insurance plans including Medicaid. A reduced fee is available for clients without insurance on a limited basis. Telehealth services are also available.

I have clinical experience working with teens and adults with mental health disorders, as well as substance use disorders. I use evidence-based techniques to guide my practice and to develop your individualized treatment plans. I also have experience working with individuals suffering from past trauma and am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

We all need a supportive ear at times. This could be dealing with everyday stressors or healing from past experiences. I would love to walk beside you through your journey. I have experience working with a variety of people through prior work in social services. Working with children and families who have experienced many different circumstances is familiar to me. I strive to create a therapeutic space where each person feels heard and is accepted for who they are.

Hey, I'm Evelynn! I enjoy working with a variety of issues, but I'm especially passionate about working with gender expansive clients! I'm a transgender woman, and my experiences absolutely inform how I approach working with my clients. I will provide space to explore which aspects of expression, pronouns, sexuality, and other elements you want to incorporate into your gender. There are no wrong answers, but we'll work together to find one you are comfortable with! I also have found neurodiversity (Autism Spectrum & ADHD) and eating disorders as additional specialties through working with the LGBTQIA2S+ community.
