The approach that I have to psychotherapy is to address the individuals needs, based on how they are viewing their world. The concerns of the individual becomes the focus of how they are utilizing their strengths and to provide supportive techniques for there success. Defining the goals and the pathways to reaching their goals is vital in the success of the therapeutic relationship. If we could look at this relationship as a partnership, then we can work together towards overall improvement of functioning.

Treatment of Trauma, PTSD, Dissociation, and Substance Use. Trauma-informed services are provided in a way that is safe, supportive, and empowering. Primary treatment goals are to help you: identify & reduce triggers; decrease anxiety, depression, and dissociation; improve relationships with yourself and others; increase your overall life satisfaction. My focus is to help individuals heal from difficult life situations. People often face overwhelming challenges. No matter what happens in life, we always have choices.

I specialize in helping adults and adolescents who feel stuck or overwhelmed by issues in their personal and/or professional lives. Having practiced for over 20 years, I have worked with many clients who were able to overcome obstacles in their lives, and, as a result, became happier and more productive.

The clients I have experienced often have had some not so great experiences with therapy in the past and have their guard up. They are looking to be listened to and to work on the goals they identify as important to them, they ultimately want someone they can trust and feel safe/comfortable with. The clients that I have worked with have a variety of issues they bring into services including anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting issues, relationship issues, communication struggles, ADHD, issues at school, self-harm and SI. They want to learn the tools to address their struggles in a realistic and achievable way.

Angelia specializes in working with individuals 17 and up, parents who are going through a divorce and need assistance in learning co-parenting skills, and couples therapy. I am Kyle Wockenfuss, a licensed mental health practitioner in the state of Nebraska and I am pleased you are considering taking control of your wellness. For these reasons, among others, I became a professional counselor and educator. I have worked in a variety of placements, including college-counseling centers, inpatient services, and in private practice.

I work with clients struggling with a variety of issues, including Anxiety/Panic, ADHD, Depression, Grief, Life Transitions, Chronic Pain, Mood Disturbance, Self-Care, and many more. However, I am currently only accepting adults with ADHD or suspected ADHD as new clients. Therapy tends to work best when a client provides as much information as possible, is open and honest, and puts in the effort and work necessary to improve upon their life.
