Treatment of Trauma, PTSD, Dissociation, and Substance Use. Trauma-informed services are provided in a way that is safe, supportive, and empowering. Primary treatment goals are to help you: identify & reduce triggers; decrease anxiety, depression, and dissociation; improve relationships with yourself and others; increase your overall life satisfaction. My focus is to help individuals heal from difficult life situations. People often face overwhelming challenges. No matter what happens in life, we always have choices.
During the first sessions, we'll get to know each other, discuss your goals for therapy, and develop a plan to help you achieve balance and serenity in your life. I specialize in providing services to first responders, military veterans, and others. I have 35+ years of experience in all levels of care in mental health and substance use treatment facilities.
The Dual Diagnosis Outpatient Treatment program has been CARF-accredited since 2013. The primary therapy approaches used are: EMDR therapy; Ego State therapy; and Clinical Hypnosis. I am a Board Certified TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH).
