I have many years of experience working with individuals struggling with stressful life events, grief and loss, and relationship issues with a spouse or significant other.

I am passionate about serving others by integrating the best mental health practices and spiritual care for the soul. I am a Licensed Counselor, Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor and a Minister. I provide services to individuals, couples, and families in person and through HIPPA-secure tele-therapy. I address a broad range of mental health concerns, life transitions, relationship issues, and career choices. I also integrate clinical counseling and theology: combining research-based psychology with a Christian perspective of human suffering, hope, and redemptive love. My primary specialty is attachment theory. Attachment based modalities include Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Emotionally Focused Therapy for Individuals (EFIT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy for Families (EFFT). Other areas of speciality include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is effective in treating trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). I am also growing in my ability to apply Internal Family Systems (IFS) in my practice with clients.

I specialize in helping you navigate through life's challenges, learn how to be more aware of your thoughts, feelings, emotions, surroundings, situations, & to reduce automatic responses. My clients are often experiencing stressors related to burnout, life transitions, life stagnation, relationships, perfectionism, Imposter Syndrome, high achievement/striving, challenging family dynamics, & struggling with managing anxiety/depression symptoms, addictions, or just feeling "stuck". The goal is to find your peace, recognize that you are not separated by your mental, physical, & spiritual health but interdependently connected by them.

The process of working with a new client is to gather pertinent information about the client's psychosocial, environment, and past family history to help accurately diagnose the client. Once a diagnosis is made then a treatment plan would be developed conjointly between the client and me utilizing S.M.A.R.T. goals. S.M.A.R.T. goals are​ specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-based goals that would help the client be successful in treatment.
