Life happens to all of us, unfortunately, what to do when it does is a question that stumps many of us. Sometimes it's an unexpected phone call or experience that alters the trajectory of life, leaving us gripped by defeat, anxiety, and despair. Other times, it's the pain of past wounds (or sometimes present)/trauma caused by someone who was supposed to love and protect us that weighs on us like a ton of bricks, stifling our ability to move forward. My theoretical approach is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I'm a trained educator with an insatiable knack for helping people to deepen their understanding of mental health and ability to effectively deal with life's challenges (i.e. depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, ADHD, and relational discord).
My ultimate treatment goal is to help you be all that your heart desires to be, to achieve your wildest dreams, and to live a fulfilled life that’s rooted & grounded like a tree planted by the rivers of water—nothing less.
