I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate, known as Dr. D. I work with individuals and couples who need an empowering and motivated therapist. With experience in sex therapy as well as treating military sot. With experience in sex therapy as well as treating military soldiers and veterans, men, and seniors, Darryl believes in empowering his clients and assisting them with finding their truth. Darryl attended Western Illinois University for undergraduate studies in Journalism, earned a Master’s degree in Social Work, and completed his Doctoral studies at Walden University with honors.
I am also a board-certified hypnotherapist with advanced training in CBT, CPT, EMDR, EFT, and DBT. I believe that diverse life experiences create a unique understanding of the human condition, including the mental health and daily challenges that each adult faces at some point in their life.
Life is tough, but each of us has our own superpowers that allow us to cope. My job as a therapist is to assist you in getting in touch with that power and learning coping skills to find what you want or need.
