I’ve been a psychotherapist for almost twenty years and have worked with individuals, families, and children.  I find my work with adult females to be the most rewarding because I can relate to the issues that women experience. I have traveled my path through childhood trauma to become the expression of my true self, and I continue to learn more every day. With my personal experience and knowledge of psychological theories and therapies, I can help you with your self-discovery and challenges.  This is a lifelong journey, not a race.

As a family systems therapist, I view clients from the perspective of their holistic environment. Together we will look at where you are coming from, and where you want to go. I work with clients between 13-80 experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, loss, trauma, relationship issues, marital conflict, family conflict, major life adjustments, adolescent issues, parenting issues, men’s issues, and more. I also work with couples and families to improve communication, process trauma, and enhance relationships. There is a soft spot in my heart for teens, young families, couples, men, and those who grieve.

The Scene: Day after day, year after year, you hope that things will change. You've convinced yourself that you are not strong enough or smart enough. You don't understand why you can't be happy like everyone else. The questions continues to linger: How do I hold space for these thoughts? What do I do?

We are licensed in Oregon, Maine, Minnesota, Florida, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina and Colorado. We currently offer telehealth and virtual therapeutic services. We work with individuals with a wide range of concerns including depression, mood disorders, family relations issues, substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders. We combine different therapeutic approaches based on client's presenting concerns, goals, and motivation, such as, cognitive-behavioral, brief therapy, mindfulness, client-centered, solution-focused therapy.

My clinical specialization is assisting people struggling with unresolved issues and trauma. I work with a variety of issues, including but not limited to challenges related to relationship distress, stress, self-esteem, mood, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other issues.

We are here to serve clients ages 7 - 77, who are challenged by a multitude of behavioral health concerns to include substance use disorders, and complex mental health scenarios where both medical and psychiatric conditions coexist. Moreover, as a trained Healthcare Chaplain, I seek to provide incarnational care. The aim of " Beautiful Mind" is to be incarnational. Therefore, to provide a holistic treatment approach to all who call upon our services.
