Hello all! As a therapist, I understand that therapy can be an intimidating and overwhelming process to start. I strive to meet clients where they are and engage with clients using a positive, non-threatening, and relatable approach. Along with offering in-office and Telehealth visits, I offer walk-and-talk sessions to address issues and move your body outdoors. I endeavor to create a collaborative therapy process that assists clients with addressing concerns and working towards their individualized goals.

I am accepting NEW CLIENTS!! I am a Charlotte native. I have been passionate about working with people that seek Substance Use and Mental Health support for over 15 years. I enjoy collaborating and empowering my patients to reach their desired outcomes. My approach is based on the individual needs and I believe that the person sitting in front of me is actually the expert, I’m simply the tool that gets to help navigate the journey!

Currently I am working with adults, couples and families. However my qualifications are in the area of adolescents, and adults; individuals, couples and family counseling; population of HIV/AIDS, Substance Use, Mental Health, Veterans issues, College students, Employee Assistance, and Trauma clients. In supervision, I am qualified to supervise LPCs in North Carolina and South Carolina, as well as, SUD: CSACs, LCASs, and CCSs in North Carolina and CACs in South Carolina.

I use a collaborative approach of therapy. I find this method to be very effective in the treatment of my clients. My clients and I work together to achieve the desired goal, which has been proven to empower the individual. I ensure therapy is conducted in a supportive, safe, and non-judgmental environment. I believe everyone is capable of change and can overcome any life obstacle.

My counseling approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Therapeutic Yoga and Dialectical Behavioral therapy. There is no greater power than helping individuals to overcome mental and emotional barriers/ traumas that impede overall health & well-being. I believe that we are the “Author of our story” and our voyage is to own the “Ink” that writes “Our” story. It is important that my clients are provided a safe space, free of judgment, and are given an environment to express themselves.
