I primarily work with clients with anxiety (including obsessive-compulsive disorder and specific phobias), PTSD, and moral injury. My clients tend to work in high-stress occupational settings and hold themselves to high standards. I work best with people who have problems stemming from a desire to be in control all the time, extremely high standards leading to disappointment and self-doubt, and struggle to 'let things go.' My clients want to learn how they can function better in their life, without sacrificing their high standards. I can serve clients living in most states, via telehealth.
I use short-term (typically 15-20 sessions), evidence-based therapeutic approaches. I tend to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, depending on your preferences and goals. Specific treatments I use include Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, and Exposure and Response Prevention.
I am committed to helping my clients achieve their goals by personalizing evidence-based approaches. If you think we might be a good fit, I encourage you to reach out via e-mail.
