The relationship between client and therapist is like no other. The sole focus of counseling is about you and how to help you be healthier and happier. I've worked with adults to overcome depression, anxiety, and early abuse and neglect issues. My special interests is assisting people in recognizing and changing long standing, ineffective patterns of behavior and in working with people who have experienced undernourished and traumatic childhoods. I also work with people who are experience stress, job burnout, and grief and loss issues.
I primarily take a cognitive behavior approach, exploring the beliefs that inform emotions and patterns of behaviors, utilizing a variety of techniques, tailored to meet the needs of each individual. These techniques may include EMDR, Voice Dialogue or Hypnotherapy. Care is taken to form a safe, trustful, beneficial environment.
My office is conveniently located at 5701 Woodway Dr, at the intersection of Woodway and Chimney Rock and can be reached easily from either 610 West Loop or I10. I will personally return your calls so we can discuss any questions you may have about counseling and to determine if we are a good fit.
