I am a clinical psychologist licensed in the state of Missouri since 1988. I've worked in psychiatric hospitals, residential care facilities, and private practice. I currently work in a solo private practice in south St. Louis County and also as a consultant to a child and adolescent residential treatment program in Florissant. I have been a featured presenter and trainer on a variety of topics to community groups, schools, and mental health organizations.

During my career, I have worked with both individual and group settings, including adults with people living with HIV, veterans, incarcerated people and transgender/gender variant individuals. These populations included people with depression, bi-polar disorder, personality disorders, anxiety, PTSD and depression. I co-facilitated a group for trans youth and co-coordinated it for 6 years. I have 25+ years experience working with individual adults, and couples, on a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, grief and loss, self esteem and other challenges to well being. My desire as a therapist is to provide a place of safety in which these issues can be addressed. I utilize a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.

Laura McClure is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Missouri who has been practicing since 2017. She has a Master of Social Work from Saint Louis University in 2017, clinical tract with specializations in Children, Youth, and Family, Trauma-Informed Care, and Individual and Family Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Child Family Development from Missouri State University in 2007. Laura believes that the client is the expert and works with the client to help define problem areas and develop attainable goals to work towards within the therapeutic environment.
