My background is with couples, individuals, children, and parents. I specialize working alongside people diagnosed with serious, life limiting illnesses (specifically cancer) and their caregivers, as well those grieving a loss. Another niche of my practice is medical professionals, residents/fellows, and those with high stress, demanding careers. Couple counseling and relational work is also a predominate area of focus in my practice.

For support in managing difficulties in your personal & professional lives caused by unresolved traumas or conflict, therapy can help. I work with individuals, couples, & families to help collaboratively tackle the challenges they are facing, through creating a new insight & forming an action, solution plan. Additionally, I practice EMDR therapy, AEDP, Brainspotting and Neurofeedback and find it powerful in healing a range of psychological concerns including depression, anxiety, shame and trauma and areas where clients experience "being stuck". My practice is based on years of well-established evidence-based effective treatments.

My academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Psychology from Iowa State University, followed by a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University.
