TaNesha has been providing therapeutic services for the Twin Cities area for children, adolescents, adults and families for the last eighteen years. She has worked specifically with disenfranchised minority communities and has taken extensive trauma and multicultural training to support her work. As an African American female, TaNesha serves as both knowledgeable and an in-demand resource in that specific population. Using a holistic approach to therapy with a framework centered on reality(choice) based therapy, TaNesha looks at all aspects of a person’s life in order to help them identify areas of change.
TaNesha's goal is to create a supportive and cultivating environment in which healing can take place. TaNesha's extensive experience comes from working with individuals who have experienced Sexual exploitation, Sex Trafficking, cumultive trauma, foster care/adoption, issues with dysregulation, dual diagnoses, SPMI’s, attachment and parenting.
TaNesha has provided CTSS, individual, group and family therapy, coaching and family reunification support. Guidance for her therapeutic approach comes from training in evidence-based Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. TaNesha is currently providing therapy at Rainfall Therapy and Consulting via telehealth
