I work with individuals, couples and families who are having feelings such as depression, anxiety, anger and grief. Creating an atmosphere that is both safe and challenging, I help clients gain a perspective that allows them to be clearer about themselves, their interaction with others and their personal and professional direction. I also specialize in consulting and coaching with business leaders and their organizations. With encouragement, support and genuine concern for my clients, I use all the tools I've gathered through 25 years of professional training and experience to facilitate this process.

I love working with families. I have worked in the mental health field for almost 20 years in a variety of settings. I have found my passion in working with young children and their families with a special love for children with significant behavioral issues. My goal is to work with care givers to help support them in parenting and understanding the child's behavior through a different lens. I use directive and non directive play therapy interventions, sand tray and other relationship based interventions to support my client's goals.

With 12 years of experience working with clients going through individual, relationship, and family issues, Celebrity Therapist Dr. Jeff Rocker has provided therapeutic services to clients nationwide. He is Licensed in 22 states and has served clients from all age groups. Over the years, Dr. Jeff has organized lectures and various events in the community, including excursions and retreats for couples to improve their communication and better understand each other. He has experience working with athletes in the NFL, NBA, and MLB. In addition, Dr. Jeff has also worked with clients in the Movie, Music, and Entertainment Industries.

It's okay not to know exactly what you want out of therapy. My job is to help you cultivate the ability to communicate with your inner being and essence to understand yourself more. Let’s be honest – life is moving faster and getting more stressful by the minute. The thought of finding the time or motivation to do anything about it, though, is a funny joke. And so the cycle continues: you keep going to the same job, staying in the same relationship, and putting up with others' expectations. You're stressed, frustrated, and depressed. You find that your thoughts are distracting you, your body is tense, and you snap at everyone and everything. You can't even catch a decent night's sleep! You sometimes even argue with yourself because you "should" be happy with everything you have. So what gives?

I believe in creating a safe space for people to process life's difficulties. I enjoy helping clients learn how to use their inner strengths to obtain contentment with a variety of life's issues. I specialize in ASD and related disorders. I have worked along side children and parents to help manage the day to day struggle unique to these diagnoses. I have supported clients at home, worked with educators and developed strategies for community involvement. I have a passion for helping children, adolescents, teenagers and their parents manage the problems and stressors that come with having ASD and other executive functioning issues.

For the last fourteen years my practice has been geared towards adults struggling with anxiety and panic, depression, relationship issues of all types, grief and loss, and past trauma. I also work a great deal with addiction and codependency in the family. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I see my job as helping people resolve these issues in collaborative, non-judgmental therapy sessions. I provide an environment where these problems can be explored and resolved. My approach is direct but respectful; giving clients practical skills and techniques that can change their lives.
