Sometimes it is difficult to value ourselves. I believe all individuals have innate worth, and it is my goal to guide clients toward this understanding as self-insight and a healthy self-concept are foundational for emotional and mental well-being. Collaboratively, we will help you develop a kinder, more accurate view of self, deepen empathy, expand perspective, and foster peace and acceptance through trying journeys. Personal experiences have given me insight into depression, anger, and fear and the strength that comes from a trying situation.
Through ACT, I aim to increase clients' capacity to live in the present moment, accept experiences, and act according to their values. Existential themes, past experiences, emotions, core/irrational beliefs, and the internal world will be examined. Additionally, I enjoy using art to help clients process things that are difficult to express verbally.
It can be frightening to start therapy. I will sit with you in your pain and give you the space to fully express your thoughts and emotions. I will gently push you toward recognizing and achieving your potential. In the therapy room, the full person will be accepted and all concerns respected.
