Bethany is passionate about supporting emotional, mental, physical and spiritual well-being of all individuals, but especially mothers. She is most passionate about working with pregnant and parenting mothers as they address the dynamic elements of their state of life. Her heart for maternal mental health comes from both personal and professional influences. She is currently pursuing a certification as a Perinatal Mental Health professional (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International (PSI) to be able to more fully support this client population.

I use an eclectic approach and believe in creating a client-therapist partnership to empower clients in their own healing. I am trauma certified and specialize in helping survivors of trauma (PTSD, sexual assault, domestic abuse, adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse).

My main goal for therapy is developing a safe and healing relationship, as this relationship provides that support and encouragement you may need to feel confident achieving your goals. I work with you at your own pace, as you are the expert of your own experiences. I enjoy helping clients through a variety of different support needs, and I am especially passionate about helping people and their family members with chronic illness and disability needs, as disability does not exist in a vacuum. I also love supporting parents and new mothers to cope with stress and their inner critic.

Carrie has also taught Sociology classes at the collegiate level. Carrie has experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults on a wide variety of issues.
