Howdy! My name is Ryan Lloyd and I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Supervisor, AAMFT Supervisor Candidate, & Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor working in North Texas. One of the mantras I live by is "we can't do better if we don't know better." I say this as I involve psychoeducation into my work with clients and view therapy as a learning experience. I value honesty in the therapeutic relationship and don't shy away from challenging clients to foster growth within themselves and their relationships. I have developed a successful curriculum on Pornography addiction, called the "5 Ways Out". I have also created and counselled a curriculum called, "Helper Lover", for marriage counseling.

I have 20+ years of experience in working with children, adolescents and adults in the Metroplex. I worked at Cook Children's Hospital for 12 years and for two years at a local inpatient children & adolescent behavioral health facility. I also complete in home therapy with children and adults.
