I have spent the past twenty-eight years in the education world as a teacher, principal, testing coordinator, and mental health counselor, and I sincerely hold the belief that we are all in this together to support and lead each other. My background is certainly a benefit to building a therapeutic relationship with clients of all ages, and this relationship is what has drawn me to mental health counseling.
My main purpose in counseling is to help clients move toward their goals through solutions focused therapy while always keeping an eye on a healthy lifestyle in both personal and work arenas.
It is especially important to me that clients feel free of judgement when they are in therapy and that they know that my plan is to help them achieve their life goals. Counseling is hard work for both the therapist and the client, and I am deeply appreciative of the trust clients put in me as a therapist.
