Howdy! My name is Ryan and I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Supervisor, AAMFT Approved Supervisor, & Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor working in North Texas. One of the mantras I live by is "we can't do better if we don't know better." I say this as I involve psychoeducation in all of my work with clients and view therapy as a learning experience. I value honesty in the therapeutic relationship and don't shy away from challenging clients to foster growth within themselves and their relationships. It's important to me to collaborate with my clients and I welcome you to explore growth, learning, and healing with me.

I have extensive experience working with co-occurring psychiatric & substance use disorders, criminal justice cases, and high-conflict families & couples. I have also worked in both inpatient & outpatient settings and focus on treating the entire family in my client-centered approach. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, couples, and families.

The most extraordinary changes I've experienced in my own life could not have occurred if I hadn't felt challenged to explore myself more and get out of my comfort zone.
