RVCC offers counseling and medication management at offices located in offices located in Holyoke, Chicopee, Easthampton, Springfield, and Westfield. RVCC also provides counseling in schools throughout Hampden and Hampshire Counties and on the campuses of Springfield Technical Community College and Bay Path University.

I am a licensed mental health counselor and the owner of Kristen Sullivan and Associates Inc. I have a great deal of experience working with substance abuse issues. Clients and I work together to get to the root of the problem, and uncover the reasons behind their substance abuse. Once these past issues are conquered, they can start on the fresh path to living a sober and fulfilling life.

I earned my undergraduate and graduate degrees at Anna Maria College. First earning my Masters in Counseling Psychology in 2005. I currently hold a LADC I, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor I license and LMHC, Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have been blessed for many years to work with youth and their families who suffer with anxiety, mood disorders, attachment disorders, trauma, Substance abuse, self-harm and self-regulation concerns. I work collaboratively with my clients and their family, when needed, to develop the most effective trauma informed care plan to help motivate long lasting change.

Seeking help is not always easy: figuring out what to say, how to say it and if the therapist will understand are amongst just some of the beginnings. Building a good treatment relationship is something that I enjoy with adults, couples and teens. I have more than 20yrs experience in a variety of settings including group practice, private high schools, emergency rooms and insurance companies reviewing care with medical professionals. I can help you as an adult with anxiety, mood issues and overall stressors with work or life. We can figure out prospectives, increase coping options and resolve past unresolved issues, etc.

I am an Independently licensed Substance Abuse Therapist operating and managing a multi-modal group practice. I have extensive experience in evaluating and treating substance abuse and mental illness, detoxification, rehabilitation, in home services and corrections. I believe it is important in treating individuals using a multi-modal approach .
