I am more commonly known as Victoria Leigh Parenti, and I was born and raised in New Orleans. I graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2014. Afterwards, I pursued a Master of Arts in Counseling with a special concentration in School Counseling at the University of Holy Cross, where I graduated in 2018. I trained and counseled in a variety of settings including the following: Thomas E. Chambers’ Counseling and Training Center, Department of Juvenile Services/Rivarde Juvenile Detention Center, East Jefferson High School, and Beacon Behavioral Outpatient Clinic.

I also specialize in inner critic work, anxiety, guilt, shame, depression, religious trauma, & spiritual issues. As a registered play therapist my passion lies in working with children and caregivers to unlock their fullest potential and leaning in to their most authentic selves . Employing a unique blend of child-centered play therapy and synergetic play therapy, I integrate insights from neuroscience and interpersonal neurobiology. This approach allows me to deeply connect with children while providing parents with a scientific understanding of their child's behaviors. I am a registered art therapist (trauma-sensitive), Neurodivergent COACH, special education consultant and offer college career guidance. My therapeutic specializations are trauma, grief/loss and Neurobiology. My approach focuses on generational trauma, and historical grief/loss utilizing the polyvagal theory in conjunction with the creative process. I am also a special education consultant focusing on gifted, neurodivergent population (ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, ASD), and state evaluator for Talented in the Arts. I guide parents though the process of developing Individual Education Plans for charter and private schools.

Greetings, I am a psychotherapist who specializes in Trauma and Sex Therapy. My goal is to support you holistically working together to create a space of healing. Most of us experience some type of negative life event as we move throughout our lives. Events that are not fully processed may show up as increased anxiety, anger, depression, or unpleasant sensations in our bodies. I also work with individuals who have toxic shame. As a Sex Therapist, I work with individuals who want to explore and broaden their own sexuality and those with sexual concerns, sexual dysfunction, sexual pain and desire discrepancies.
