My approach to therapy is eclectic and collaborative: working with you to tailor and adjust my methods to your strengths, preferences, and needs. In therapy, one size does NOT fit all.

I believe in assessing clients on an individual basis, choosing treatment modalities that would be indicated for the particular problem/s of that person. I honor what the client wishes we set therapy goals accordingly. I work with adolescents and adults in individual, couple or family therapy bringing to treatment years of experience, a good solid knowledge base and a sensitivity towards my clients concerns. I have been trained to use hypnosis and E.M.D.R. in my practice. I have taught at the Tulane University School of Social Work as an adjunct professor from 1984 - 2014, 30 years.

She has a background in individual, group, and couple’s counseling. Melanie Danton M.A., LPC-S is a Professional Counselor licensed in the State of Louisiana. She has a Master’s in Community Counseling from Louisiana State University. She is a native to native to New Orleans area and as a passion for helping her community.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I provide individual holistic psychotherapy and mind-body skills training (guided imagery, meditation, relaxation, mindfulness, etc). In addition to providing counseling using a wellness approach (rather than the medical model), I also use mind-body skills training to help clients move towards personal growth and stress reduction and to better cope with transition and developmental processes. My theoretical approach to counseling is somewhat eclectic, but largely humanistic, existential, and integrative. I work with clients on examining and building upon the whole person holistically.

Rachel is a Registered Art Therapist and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor currently serving women virtually in Massachusetts and Louisiana. She strives to create space for individuals to design their path to healing through creative expression, providing guidance from a holistic lens. Rachel has experience in a variety of clinical settings, utilizing art therapy as a vehicle for self-compassion, identity exploration, and conflict resolution.

I am a clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience as a therapist.
