Announcement icon During the COVID-19 pandemic I am providing video and telephone sessions for both current and new clients.
Welcome! As a clinical psychologist, I help adults who are struggling with anxiety, social anxiety, insomnia, low self-esteem, and interpersonal difficulties. I also work with people who are experiencing significant loss or life transitions. I provide a confidential, safe, and compassionate setting where you can feel understood on your own terms. My eclectic approach to treatment includes psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness perspectives, and I tailor my approach to meet the individual needs of each client.
I have an interest in helping teenagers (16 and up) and adults overcome social anxiety through individual or group psychotherapy. I also work with people who struggle with sleep issues, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-Insomnia (CBT-I). I incorporate relaxation and mindfulness techniques and I am a certified Focusing Oriented Therapist.
I work with a small therapy dog. Olive is a low-key and friendly, hypoallergenic Lowchen who enjoys welcoming people in the waiting room and keeping them company during sessions. Her presence is at the discretion of the client.
