My speciality is in trauma which I have published on. I use EMDR, parts work and a psychodynamic approach. I particularly appreciate working with those who were chronically stressed in their childhood & doing couples intensives. I have extensive experience working with U.S. service members, business leaders with stressful jobs, intimate partner violence, and childhoods of neglect & deprivation. I also conduct research on trauma and health psychology. I do not just, "sit and listen." I play an active role in your therapy.
I have certifications in trauma informed care & I am proudly working towards certification with EMDRIA. I take a holistic approach with my clients. I make the process of therapy fun and engaging while allowing for the depth and seriousness that naturally comes from serious engagement.
