Every therapist is slightly different, so the most important thing that you can do is to find a therapist who is right for you. Personally, I believe that therapy works best when we are able to work together in a friendly, collaborative environment, where you can feel seen, heard, and known. I also believe that there is no “one size fits all” model, and therefore I tailor my therapy sessions to each client's individual needs.

My approach to therapy prioritizes building trust and collaborating with my clients to help them achieve efficient, but lasting change. I enjoy working with adults, adolescents, families, and couples.

Life can sometimes be really hard. Sometimes by our own doing, sometimes because of someone else, and sometimes you just don't feel 'right'. These bumps (or mountains sometimes!) can be tough to get through. Whether it is you, your marriage or relationship, or your family that is struggling, I want to work together with you to get you back to where you need to be. I value authenticity and desire to be 'real' with my clients.

I come from the Rosebud Lakota people in South Dakota and have lived here in Boise since 1993. Drawing upon my traditional insight and background that is centered on human balance, harmony, and inner peace by way of connecting the circle of past, present, and future. Coaching focuses on learning NEW relational skills TODAY that you can USE tomorrow in your relationships. I have 10+ years treating couples in a clinical setting. I have created my couples coaching program based on years of experience and hundreds of couples. Coaching is a great fit if BOTH of you are committed to growing together. Coaching immediately addresses old patterns and starts the process of changing unhealthy dynamics. Coaching includes education and laser-focused feedback. Please note: if you are looking for couples therapy, this is not what I provide. My clinical practice is not accepting new clients.

My clinical specialties include Trauma, Couples and Marital Counseling, Parenting Issues, and a variety of Addiction. Primarily, my areas of expertise are Problematic Sexual Behaviors, Autism, and PTSD.

I am a licensed marriage family therapist that employs fast paced, goal directed short term solutions for busy professionals looking to change their relationship dynamics. Specific areas of focus include, healing trauma and attachment, healing anger and codependence and healing anxiety and depression.

Hello, I can imagine It's hard reaching out for help when you're going through a tough time, this is a great start. Life is challenging enough without us making it worse and causing more suffering. Anxiety, depression, addiction, grief or relationship problems cause us to feel alone, unhappy, and out of answers on how to fix the situation or feel better. I have many years of experience working with women, children and families through being a special needs preschool teacher, children's mental health treatment manager, adoption program coordinator, and public speaker. I received my master's degree in marriage and family therapy in 2009. Through my counseling practice I endeavor to help you establish a strong, healthy outlook on life whereby you can develop to your full potential. I am passionate about helping you and your family attain positive change.

Counseling is a pretty scary idea. Often, the clients that I work with have not experienced a safe relationship in a long time. The idea of sitting in a room and sharing your life story with someone seems like a recipe for betrayal and pain.
