As a licensed clinical social worker in New York and New Jersey, I know that it can feel challenging when beginning the search for the right therapist to help you through some challenging times. I work alongside adults, couples, and families struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, women's issues, parenting stressors, performance-based pressures, sports and self esteem. My therapeutic approach is to provide a warm, faith-based, culturally sensitive and empathic space where you can feel safe and supported as you work to achieve your goals of growth and healing.
Utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches including but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based, Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I work to examine the way in which your thinking patterns impact your behaviors so that you can develop coping strategies and affect change.
I received my Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, am bilingual in English and Spanish, and am the owner of Graceful Mind Counseling Services LLC. My experiences working in educational, hospital, child welfare, home care and private practice settings offer extensive knowledge in working with individuals of all ages.
