Most of my clients come to me having felt that something is "not right" in their life. Maybe their relationships are struggling, they are unhappy at work or school, or they are finding it difficult to keep up with all the changes in their lives. I enjoy partnering with both adults and adolescents (and their families). My work with adults tends to focus on self-esteem and self-acceptance, interpersonal conflicts, anxiety, and life transitions. I also enjoy working with adolescents who struggle with anxiety and self-esteem, are experiencing school failure or difficulty, or are struggling to cope with life's changes in healthy ways.
I bring a person-centered and easy-going attitude to therapy, seeking to create a space that is both welcoming and engaging. I approach each client with genuine curiosity, seeking to understand your life as you experience it. I find that being open about my life and my own experiences can also help clients to feel comfortable and understood.
