There is more to therapeutic work than talk therapy. I hope to guide people towards a functional and aligned way of living that increases enrichment, a sense of accomplishment, and freedom. I feel that everyone deserves the chance to live a fulfilling life and my role is to help facilitate that opportunity with an individualized approach. My ultimate goal is to help people reconnect with themselves in meaningful and sustainable ways. I approach therapeutic work from a humanistic and eclectic lens that integrates multiple counseling theories and modalities - including Yoga Therapy and Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy.

If you are open to deeper exploration, reconnecting to your authentic self, and challenging problematic patterns of thinking/behaviors, then I can provide a safe space for you. Making the decision to start therapy can often feel daunting and part of the work may revolve around confronting those fears. I ascribe to a psychodynamic approach that allows me to focus on you as a whole, not just your presenting concerns.Together, we can work towards identifying and exploring the barriers to growth and self-fulfillment that may be holding you back in your life.

The world has become a stressful place and while it has always been stressful, we have less community and connection. These times have really put a strain on us as individuals, our relationships, our families, our jobs/school and created overwork, stress, and trauma. Honestly, doing healthy relationship and navigating stress and trauma are not skills we have been equipped with. Therapy has become the space to learn those skills, navigate stress, do self care, live presently in life, and process the trauma that's historical and present in our day to day.

It is hard to ask for help and talk about life’s struggles; it is also hard not to. You deserve to experience joy, have a voice, and discover your most authentic self. I am passionate about empowering you to live your values with intentionality and purpose, gain insights into barriers, and create the change you seek. I want to support you in learning how to implement your strengths, live more mindfully, and leverage your power to live a better life and reach your goals. I believe in our need for connection, love, and to feel whole and that the absence of these feelings can be the basis for some of our struggles and suffering.

Issues with Food: Make peace with food, your body and yourself. Feel great about your body and comfortable in your own skin. Look forward to an evening with friends, not just the next meal. Maybe you want to lose weight, stop hurting yourself with food, stop those obsessive thoughts about eating and your body, or maybe you want to learn to feel good about yourself. I won't make assumptions about you based on the size of your body. We will focus on what's important for you right now.

The therapeutic process can be scary and vulnerable. My hope is that we can navigate it together so that you feel completely supported as you strive to find more balance and fulfillment in your life. My favorite part of being a Clinical Psychologist is getting to observe people discover better, truer versions of themselves as they heal old wounds and build skill and confidence. I am an extroverted, curious person by nature who loves to laugh, explore, take risks, get deep, and connect. Therapy has been a natural fit!

The people I work with often come to me because they are looking to gain insight into emotional patterns, address difficult dynamics, and develop more balanced relationships with themselves or others. Together we paint a picture of their life stories, work to integrate the various aspects of themselves, and move towards the life they want to be living. We take the time to explore the context and history of the problem or symptom they are experiencing in order to better address it. I work with people of all ages and backgrounds and promote authentic expression and reflection in the therapy room.

It is my goal as a therapist to help bring you back to a felt sense of connection with your body. I specialize in working with teen and adult clients who are going through transitional phases, experiencing relationship issues, or are in need of processing some heavy life events. For those of us with marginalized identities, whether that be neurodivergence, chronic illness, or you’re part of the LGBTQ+ community, I want you to feel seen and heard.

I believe humans are beautifully complex beings with a mind, body, and spirit - to isolate healing to only one of these areas is to significantly limit potential growth. Are you experiencing anxiety that has not dissipated no matter how well you try to take care of yourself? Are you noticing that your relationships and career are not where you want them to be, but are struggling to know where to start to make changes? Maybe you are curious about how past challenges and trauma could be impacting you now, and want to break free from the hold that the past seems to have on you.
