Traveling through your journey in life is a powerful experience with unexpected bumps in the road, often creating feelings of uncertainty and self-doubt. When we experience thoughts and feelings that are uncomfortable such as depression, anxiety, stress, and changes in mood, we tend to also feel it physically in our bodies through lethargy, pain, and changes in sleep and weight. Inversely, what we put in our bodies often times impacts how we feel emotionally, without often times even knowing it. I am a licensed professional counselor and school psychologist. I work with preteens (11-12), teenagers, and adults with anxiety, depression and other mood disorders. I also work with preteens, teenagers and adults that have specific needs for executive functioning support, emotional self-regulation, and interpersonal relationship skill building.
