Using evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), scientifically-supported Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP) and parent coaching I will help your child or teen develop a more useful, curious and courageous mindset. A.K.A. a brain trained to tolerate the unknown. A skill that'll stay with them long after our work is completed.
As a trained family therapist, I'm always aware behind that one person in the room stand the many more who love him/her. Parents/caregivers play a key part in the success of child therapy and sustaining progress. In fact, the family may very well be the best tool in the toolbox. I won’t shy away from having parents, siblings or the whole tribe in the room.
My family took a tour of the Golden Gate Bridge when I was 10. I recall thinking I'd live here one day. We all bring with us something special to pass along.
