However, I'm a firm believer that every problem is born with a solution. Solutions may not be easy or feel good at times, but the journey of finding the solution comes with strength, endurance, and enlightenment. In my practice, individuals, couples, or families are provided with a safe environment to confront life's challenges by using evidenced based practices and interventions to assist you in moving from problem to solution.

Psychotherapy and psychological assessment are offered by Dr. Kwon (Clinical Psychologist licensed in CA and NY) for diverse emotional experiences and behavioral concerns. Working with Dr. K, patients typically experience increasing self-awareness, self-regulation, and sense of inner freedom, often accompanied by compassion for self and others. Most patients are seen once a week for 3–5 months. After that, sessions take place less often for a few more months toward closure. Before committing yourself for services, you are encouraged to try two or three sessions and let your experiences guide you to make an informed decision.

I am here to help you navigate life's challenges, worries, and pitfalls that we all face as we go through the human experience. Stress, anxiety, low self worth, behavioral acting out, substance abuse, poor communication, trauma, depression, family conflicts, loss, crisis, and all of the diverse conflicts that we can experience through life can be hard on our own. These problems are best approached as a team. I would love to work together as we face them in a united front. I have experience that goes beyond the textbook and can relate to much of the challenges that life brings. Sincerity, compassion, and truly caring are fundamental.

Therapy does not have to take a long time. My physical offices are actually in Riverside & Moreno Valley. I assist individuals & couples to successfully get through their difficult (or ongoing) stage) of their lives to acquire a healthier, more effective perspective of their relationships, their situations, & their lives. My professional background for the past 2 decades include working with adults and adolescents who have experienced trauma, grief & loss, Family/Parenting concerns, relationship issues, Depression, & Anxiety-Related challenges.

I understand the apprehension in seeking therapy and counseling. I also understand the importance of obtaining therapy in a safe and non-judgmental environment. There are times when we all face a need to seek counsel and professional therapy with someone who is able to relate to your struggles. My clients are provided a safe and understanding environment; an environment where we are able to focus on "solutions". My experience includes working with children, teens and adolescents in the schools environment and in my private practice; teaching them positive coping skills to address anger management issues.

There are a lot of joys that can be found in today's world, but sometimes those joys are clouded by the troubles that arise throughout our lives. These troubles have a way of remaining with us, and much of this collected "baggage" can suffocate our joy beneath a mountain of struggle, regret, and hardship. As a therapist, I try to be the kind of person that helps others reconnect to the joy in their life and find true happiness once more. My objective is to assist my clients get back in sync, and not feel stuck in the clouds.
