I use a holistic approach to helping people, always seeking to work with the mind-body model and enjoy working with teens, adults and couples (regardless of sexual orientation) experiencing a variety of emotional, mental and/or physical problems. I am also a Nurse Practitioner with specialties in women's health, infertility, menopause, pain, disordered eating and especially the effects of stress on overall health and well being. My approaches range from short-term solution-oriented treatments to longer in-depth psychotherapy using Mindfulness as a foundation.
My areas of expertise include depression and bipolar disorder, anxiety conditions (excessive worry, OCD, social anxiety, panic and sleep difficulties), relationship and parenting challenges, as well as work/career issues. I am here to help you face and master life's challenges and transitions, find more joy and to open yourself up to new possibilities!
I will listen carefully and work with you using my extensive training and experience to help you find your unique solutions to life's challenges. Using mindfulness and stress management techniques, I can guide and coach, in an atmosphere of safety and compassion, while encouraging personal growth and transformation.
