Becoming Mental Health Counseling is an online group practice that focuses on supporting parents becoming parents. This transformative time comes with challenges and joy, we are here to support the process wherever you may be. From family building to postpartum and new parenthood and everything in between we believe every family deserves support as they become the parent they want to be. We know there are many universal challenges in becoming a parent and having a supportive, understanding, and knowledgeable therapeutic space can help parents find their rhythm, overcome challenges and thrive.
1 in 5 birth parents will develop a perinatal mood/anxiety disorder (PMAD) in the time between pregnancy and the first year after birth. Non birth parents can also develop PMADS. With our advanced training and experience in perinatal mood disorders we can help you recover and find your joy in parenting or prepare for the postpartum period.
We will work with you to safely explore your experience, gain understanding, and help you feel unconditionally supported and cared for as you tackle this major life transition. We look forward to hearing from you and being a part of your journey.
