You find yourself in a constant loop of feeling worried, nervous, stressed and at times not good enough, thin enough, or smart enough. You’re stuck and unable to find the relief that you crave, so you try temporary fixes. Sometimes you disconnect and avoid people and your responsibilities, sometimes you binge, sometimes you purge, and sometimes you try to use anything that will distract your mind. You find, however, that your mind just wont turn off.

Hello! I am a Licensed Educational Psychologist licensed in CA and FL. I have worked with youth and their families in school, private practice, and mental health settings for over a decade. I provide both psychological testing and therapeutic services. My therapy services include individual therapy with youth, and young adults, as well as parent coaching for families seeking support for their child’s behavior. My therapeutic interventions draw from neuroscience research, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and child-caregiver attachment.

I became a Marriage and Family Therapist because I enjoy processing with individuals and listening to personal journeys to find a resolution. I was a High School performance art major and find this skill set benefical in providing supports through visual cues using various therapeutic approaches and modalities. I have extensive experience with mood disorders, trauma and addictions and work with all ages. I am trained in EMDR and use that technique with both children and adults if appropriate. My clients often state when they first spoke to me they felt immediately at ease and did not feel judged. I am able to assist my clients in seeing patterns in their life story and work to identify and change core beliefs such as "I'm not good enough", "I'm defective" or "I cannot trust others."
