I work with children, teens, and young adults in Tallahassee who are struggling with anxiety, depression, big emotions, trauma, or feeling overwhelmed. Parents often reach out when they’re not sure how to help anymore, and therapy can be a supportive place to start. My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative.
I provide individual therapy for children, teens, and young adults, as well as therapy groups for middle school, high school, and college-aged girls. I use CBT and DBT to teach coping skills, EMDR to process trauma, and play therapy with younger children to help them express feelings naturally. Sessions are warm, practical, and tailored to each client.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, for both kids and teens, and it’s normal to feel unsure about what to expect. Many parents and young people I work with have felt stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to get support. I aim to create a safe, understanding space where clients feel heard and supported while learning tools to manage emotions and navigate life
