Individuals living with low self-esteem, health challenges, career stress, relationship and family-of-origin issues, grief and loss, identity/immigrant experiences, transitions, trauma, and anxiety and/or depression work with me to identify and implement strategies to manage or eliminate stress and distress. Through a process of identifying, understanding and evaluating emotional states, thinking and behavior patterns we eliminate and replace unproductive habits with more adaptive patterns toward an increased sense of well-being and ability to thrive and function satisfactorily.
My approach is practical and methodical meaning, while attending to emotional, behavior and thought patterns, we collaboratively focus on practical solutions. I provide affirmative, directive, solution focused, relational, insight-oriented therapy to services to adult and older adolescent populations and incorporate clients' faith/religion/spiritual beliefs.
Together we can learn about you, and understand where and when to make changes that will help you gain greater control over your life. I use compassionionate questioning, reflective listening, curiosity and conscious attentiveness to enhance the emotional, relational, and psychological well-being of every patient.
