Working from a gender affirming, strength based approach, I believe that we all can reach our goals and aspirations with support and be empowered to be our authentic selves.

We are a group of six dedicated Counselors whose priority is to provide compassionate, trauma-informed, holistic mental health care services. The collective is housed in a multidisciplinary clinic, sharing office space and working closely with Fairbanks Family Wellness and Golden Heart Heath and Wellness. It is our hope that you will be supported in an integrative environment that understands the mind-body connection. We offer counseling services for all ages and we treat individuals, couples and families for an array of concerns.

More than any other factor, it is the relationship between client and therapist that has been found to profoundly impact personal change. We are hurt, and healed within relationships. With this in mind, I take a relational approach to all my therapeutic work. I believe in honoring the individual needs of each client, ensuring they are known, seen, and heard. While also gently offering alternative to one’s longstanding views of self, others, and the world. I take a special interest in expanding the social and wellness supports of individuals outside the therapy room.

I am trained as a generalist and treat adults with a wide-range of concerns such as mood disorders, adjustment difficulties, personal growth, existential concerns, attachment styles, relational issues, and life transitions. I practice from a relational approach, and place heavy emphasis on collaboration, the therapeutic relationship, and a here-and-now understanding in order to address your needs and create a meaningful experience.

I enjoy working with both adults and adolescents in a way that assists them in gaining greater self-understanding and compassion. Ultimately, I hope to help each client find a path to a more genuine and integrated way of being with others. I bring curiosity and a fresh look to each client, addressing them where they are in the moment. I see psychotherapy as a collaborative effort between therapist and client, and encourage feedback about our direction and progress.

My name is Jaime Spatrisano. I am originally from the midwest but have been enjoying Alaska's nature since 2010. I worked as a therapist for over 10 years and became a clinical psychologist in 2019. I then began a postdoctoral fellowship with Fuller Diagnostics in 2022 where I was trained as a clinical neuropsychologist. I have been conducting neuropsychological evaluations since and recently opened a private practice where I conduct neuropsychological evaluations for a variety of concerns including ADHD, autism, dementia, traumatic brain injuries and more.

A wise artist once said, "The truth is, I need help, but I just can't imagine who I'd be if I was happy." It's common to feel more comfortable in a state of depression, anxiety, or stress when these have been your only companions. What would it be like if you were happy? I am not here to promise a constant state of happiness, but I will promise that I will accompany and support you in your journey toward healing and peace.

I come from a diverse background in education, personal experience, and training. I fully believe in treating the whole person in order to address the presenting problem. My approach comes from such therapy styles to include CBT, DBT, Rogerian, EMDR, ACT, CCPT, Filial therapy, and the work of Gottman. I try to meet each client where they are when we start our work together and believe the client is the expert on themselves. I hope to be able to offer insight, education, and intervention to all clients and am continually seeking new research and training to add to my repertoire.

My name is Maliko and I am a second generation Japanese American living in Fairbanks, Alaska, also known as Tanana Dene Land. I specialize in somatic based, neurodivergent affirming, trauma responsive therapy. The secret suffering we all experience is rarely laid bare for one another, yet we know it's shared. Feedback that I have received is that I am "blunt, but with a heart." I respectfully and directly refer to and discuss the suffering and its sources. I have extensive experience working with youth and their families, include in my field of interest improving communication within couples, coping skills for individuals struggling with a variety of mental health and interpersonal issues, teach and facilitate effective communication through a Circle model, and focus always on a client's relationship with the self.

I am a Master's level, pre-licensed therapist currently seeing clients under the supervision of a licensed, private therapist in Fairbanks. I work with clients locally and (via telehealth) throughout rural Alaska. I am committed to providing holistic, progressive, culturally conscious, and truly personalized counseling in a safe, friendly, and relaxed environment. Greetings! My name is Janece and I am here to provide individuals and families with a safe and supportive place to work on sensitive concerns. I believe that change comes from commitment and dedication to improving oneself from the inside out. When individuals are able to regain control of life trouble, there is a tendency to feel better mentally, physically, and spiritually. I have my Doctorate of counseling psychology (PsyD), am a licensed professional counselor - supervisor (LPC), registered play therapist - supervisor (RPT-S), a nationally certified counselor (NBCC), certified dependency counselor - I (CDC-I), and a master addictions counselor (MAC).
