I am a North Carolina Board Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor. Prior to working in Asheboro, I have worked in public school and university settings and have ten years experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of concerns. I offer individual counseling for adults, adolescents, and children, as well as marital/premarital and family counseling. I am equipped and interested in integrating one's spiritual values and beliefs into the counseling process to the extent the client allows them to be.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCAS-A). I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Master of Social Work degree. I treat adults with a variety of diagnoses including mental health, substance use and co-occurring. I offer individual, family, group and marriage counseling. I specialize in working with individuals who are experience symptoms of Bipolar Disorders and Personality Disorders including Borderline Personality Disorder as well as trauma therapy.

I joined the counseling profession to support clients experiencing the challenges of life while seeking support to navigate their journey toward healing. Clients may be teens, young adults, or adults grappling with trauma, grief, ADHD, eating disorders, or life transitions. They might be veterans or part of a veteran's family, survivors of religious trauma or sexual abuse, or individuals exploring their spirituality. My goal is to empower my clients and walk alongside them as they discover their inner strength.

I provide counseling for couples, adults, and teenagers. After 20 years of practice I’ve had the most experience treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, codependency and post traumatic stress disorder. I also have extensive experience counseling people who are going through life transitions, and relationship issues. In a supportive environment I assist clients in gaining insight into their problems. After acquiring a better understanding of the clients situation I will offer options and coping skills to help them solve their problems.
