Hi, my name is Abby. I recognize how difficult it can be to ask for help, so congrats on taking this first, brave step towards feeling better. I aim to provide clients a safe space to be their most authentic selves, without fear of judgment. I specialize in supporting major life transitions, managing anxiety, reprocessing traumatic events, and building feelings of self-worth. The folks I work with are ready to invest in themselves. They may not know exactly how they got here, or what they need to do to get unstuck, but they want to feel better and they're ready to do the work.
I am skilled in multiple evidence-based approaches which we can use together to re-write unhelpful narratives, cope with difficult circumstances, and improve overall quality of life. Treatment will be individualized to meet your specific needs and empower you to make real change, because I believe it’s possible.
I founded The Expansive Mind Therapy Practice because expansive thinking moves you beyond your immediate personal context to allow you to look at things from different perspectives & possibilities. Our past does not have to define us, our thoughts aren't always true, and our story can be re-written! Hope to talk to you soon.
