You might be feeling stuck in your relationships. You’re struggling to be vulnerable and fully present with not only loved ones, but with yourself. You’re falling into a repetitive cycle that leaves you feeling exhausted, frustrated, and alone. You’re ready to dig into your attachment history and start breaking down the shields that used to protect you, but are now a barrier to vulnerability. You know it's time to do the deep work and cultivate the self-acceptance and relationships you long for.

As a therapist, I want to encourage others to reach out and experience the benefits of therapy. My therapeutic style is rooted in the belief that people are intrinsically valued and are deserving of fundamental human connection; to be seen, to be heard, and to be understood. These fundamental values hold the framework in how I work with the individual. I enjoy working with Asian American individuals who may have conflict with immigrant parents due to cultural and generational differences. Individuals who struggle with self-identity, and reconciling cultural issues and family dynamics.

What makes it hard to say what’s really on your mind? To get the comfort and affection you desire? What’s keeping you from showing people who you really are? Traditional talk therapy approaches all of those questions in an open-ended way that can sometimes feel like aimless exploring. Exploring is great if you're on a leisurely hike, but in the context of personal healing and getting what you want out of life, you need a map and clear direction. The map that I use comes from EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), one of the only empirically-validated couples therapy approaches, which is now also being used for individuals and families.

Feeling like no matter how hard you try, it’s never enough? Self limiting beliefs such as this can generate anger, guilt, sadness, fear and other feelings that can lead to anxiety, depression, or other symptoms of mental and physical distress. They can impact our identity, relationships, health, and ultimately prevent us from self-actualizing and becoming our true self. Together, we will explore your feelings and beliefs, use curiosity to cultivate understanding of them, and ultimately unburden the parts of you holding these self limiting beliefs so you can truly be you.

Hi, my name is Craig. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess "something" isn't OK. That "something" may be new or it may have been around for quite some time. You might be able to describe that "something" perfectly or maybe you don't know what that "something" is, but you know you are just feeling "off".

Connecting with your inner compass does not have to be an abstract concept. When you've survived difficult circumstances - learning trust your body's messages is challenging - but also how you can cultivate clarity in relationships, jobs, and everyday decisions. Somatic therapy offers the opportunity to bring awareness and compassion to your nervous system's response to your environment and integrate a greater sense of safety. From this place, your own wisdom becomes easier to hear and follow.

Very early on in my youth, I found that all I wanted to do in this life was help others. Now, as a psychotherapist, nothing brings me more joy than helping clients find healing and feel more at peace in their minds, bodies, relationships, and life circumstances.

With a background treating people across the lifespan, I have come to the realization that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most sacred spaces we can enter. With mutual respect and openness I can help you to process through grief, trauma, and chronic illness. It would be an honor to enter the sacred therapeutic space alongside you. Of note, while I am not currently taking insurance I am happy to provide you with a super bill for you to seek reimbursement from your insurance for out of network providers.

I'm passionate about working with queer, neurodivergent folks who have experienced trauma. I also enjoy working with folks who identify as part of the “still COVIDing” community. I offer support around exploring gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, and coming out. I also enjoy supporting folks in developing secure attachment and healing past attachment wounds. A lot of the folks I work with are experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, and stress. They are seeking a better understanding of themselves and some relief. I support them in bettering their relationships with themselves and others.

Welcome and thank you for your interest in my practice. Choosing a therapist involves your heart and mind and willingness to trust another with your inner thoughts. I have over twenty years of experience, working with adults on a wide range of issues. My approach is "integrative"- focusing on both deep-seated patterns as well as practical issues. Although trained in various techniques, I believe the quality of our relationship is important for meaningful therapy. I incorporate skills for reducing depression and anxiety, improving relationships and dealing with the many stressors we face. I can help you feel better.

Your calendar is filled to the brim and your mind is racing with thoughts. Soon after you get that rush from checking off a box on your to-do list, panic sets in knowing the list never ends. You are a doer and giver - often going to great lengths to please everyone around you. You try your best but still, it never feels like enough. You fear that if you slow down and pause for a moment, everything will fall apart - even you. You want more balance and ease in your life, but you have no idea where to begin.

For me, it is vital that you feel heard and supported all times, without judgment. Together, we will strategize how to best cope with daily stressors effectively and easily. I can help you leave the past behind through self-forgiveness and by creating a much more positive present, and thus, future. Often, we talk to ourselves in very negative ways and this determines our reactions and limitations, as well as our worldview. I will help you radically improve your self-esteem and take on each day's challenges feeling strong and at peace with yourself. I also specialize in trauma. My way of treating it is effective and painless.

I understand that stepping into therapy might come with a mix of reluctance or doubt, whether fueled by personal curiosity or a nudge from a partner - I embrace it all. My aim is to offer a judgement-free approach where first-timers in therapy can feel at home, couples can find their groove again, and problems can become less about 'solving' and more about understanding. Rest assured, I'm here to meet you where you are in your journey.
