I specialize in working with women experiencing perinatal and parenting issues: infertility and pregnancy loss, depression and anxiety during pregnancy and postpartum, birth trauma, and overall adjustment to parenthood. The journey to becoming a parent is complex, and you deserve to be seen, heard, and celebrated along the way. Supporting growth in self-awareness helps us lean into who we are, accept ourselves, and look at growth edges that may be painful or scary. As a therapist, I encourage my clients to achieve better ways of engaging with problems of living and improve personal well-being by expanding self-awareness and developing interpersonal communication skills. The primary focus of my practice and clinical work is always meeting the client where they are. I work with teens and adults and families to assess need and work toward solutions. During the past few years in particular many clients have developed severe depression, anxiety, and substance due to isolation, fear and uncertainty. I work with children, adolescents and adults. With children and adolescents, I do individual treatment and family consultation. The issues I work with include developmental concerns and adjustment problems, e.g., socialization, loss, divorce. I reinforce my work with children by strengthening parenting skills. I collaborate with schools as needed. My work with adults and the elderly includes life cycle issues, stress, depression and anxiety.

Life is difficult! Relationships are challenging and require a lot of work. Parenting is exhausting and often bewildering. We are all capable of growth and working through our struggles, sometimes that means getting some extra support. I have over 10 years of experience helping with folks from all walks of life navigate the difficulties they face, from situational stressors and life changes to debilitating anxiety, depression, and trauma.
