Understanding the importance of self-discovery and the journey to happiness, I strive to aid those achieve the best version of themselves by enhancing their skills to breakthrough their barriers. With my passion and background in helping individuals deal with traumatic experiences, I truly believe each person has the innate potential to achieve their full healthy selves. I been have been working in the human services and mental health field for over six years, and recognize that each individuals story is uniquely their own and that their healthiest selves can be achieved.
My approach to therapy is a combination of experiential, cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, solution-focused, mindfulness, and empowerment. In addition to trauma focused therapy, I have experience in working with anxiety, domestic violence, depression, stigma, and marginalized groups, with my passion being working with members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Taking the leap to engage in therapy can be anxiety provoking for many, particularly when determining if you and the therapist would be a good fit.
