Many people I see have trouble coping with day to day living due to deeply rooted issues that have been troubling them for a long time. Nicole Tilton is a LPC in the State of NJ who has been working in the field for over 10 years. She has in BA Psychology from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and a MS in Mental Health Counseling with a certificate in Couples & Family Counseling from Monmouth University. She also is a National Certified Counselor, an Approved Clinical Supervisor, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Nicole works with individuals who have been affected by trauma as well as grief and loss. She also works with primary mental health diagnoses.

With over 25 years working in the mental health field, I have found that a compassionate, empathetic approach is a necessity when providing therapy. Heather McCooey has experience working with adults with a variety of acute and chronic behavioral health issues such as- anxiety, depression and mood disorders as well as drug and alcohol use disorders and the impacts of these illnesses on families and loved ones. Ms. McCooey provides individual, family and group counseling to adults using cognitive behavioral, motivational and person centered therapies. She offers a thoughtful, down to earth and humorous demeanor and perspective in working with her clients and feels grateful to be a part of their journey towards self knowledge, improvement and change.

Lisa received her Master’s in Counseling at Montclair University. She’s worked in various positions in the field utilizing her counseling skills and innate problem solving abilities as a Guidance Counselor, a Crisis Counselor, Substance Abuse Counselor, and an In home counselor for the last 15 years where she has molded and guided at risk youth in crisis. Lisa holds certifications in: Eye Movement and Densitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy (Ct.H), National Board-Certified Counselor (NCC), Mind/Body Personal Trainer, Certified Hatha Yoga Instructor, and CANS certified SNA (NA/BPS).

Brittany Ligammari is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in New Jersey who has been practicing since 2021. She has a Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling from TCNJ. Brittany aims to create a welcoming environment that encourages clients to collaborate in the therapeutic process. She uses evidencebased approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, and solutionfocused to best assist her clients in achieving their goals. Her goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where individuals and families build stronger connections, enhance their communication skills, and work towards a more fulfilling and happier life.

How do we make sense of our stuff? This is a critical question. Life can be challenging and sometimes we can’t understand what we are experiencing and why. Much of our ability to overcome adversity originates from our mindset- how we process our experiences. It is the lens through which we view our reality. Essentially, what contributes to our overall well-being is not necessarily the absence of setbacks but rather how we respond to these experiences. I work with my clients to help them shift their mindset and to find meaning in all of life’s experiences.
