Hate therapy? I get it. If you are missing out on a sense of peace or feel like you'll burst if something doesn't change soon, however, then it’s worth it to invest in yourself through therapy. Concerns I work with most are: men’s issues (i.e. intimacy), codependency, life transitions (i.e. college, divorce), anxiety, substance use disorders, self esteem/empowerment. No matter what your concern, I'm committed to not pathologizing people. You are not broken! I tailor sophisticated treatment modalities to your needs and pride myself in being present with you during our sessions.

So, we may begin with MBCBT, ACT or CPT concepts, before turning to emotion focused or existential work.
You may be experiencing stressors related to relational conflicts, family of origin challenges, parenting children (especially if they have special needs), life transitions or grief and loss. You may be coping with a disability or trauma. I am passionate about collaborating with you to identify your strengths and discover how you can leverage those strengths in building solutions that are congruent with your values and goals, as well as identifying ways to increase your resilience. If you would like to explore your relationship with substances or how your family system impacts you, I would be honored to be a witness to your process.

We all struggle at times to meet the internal and external challenges inherent in life. We move to manage and cope with problems, unhappiness and bad feelings. Sometimes we get stuck. Other times we move with skill and thoughtfulness, realizing happiness and peace of mind. I work with people to maximize skillfulness and minimize being stuck, using principles of change found in various psychotherapy models. I emphasize accurate understanding, acceptance, and change based on your values and worldview. I am honored that clients share their struggles and successes with me!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who practices with an authentic, compassionate and human centered approach. My hope is to work collaboratively with you to address areas of stress or challenge leading to increased connection and growth. I am trained in EMDR which I utilize for healing past trauma, gaining deeper connection to your present self, finding a sense of safety within, and adjust the cycle for the future.

Welcome to my practice. All of us experience times in our life when we are struggling and ready for change. I work to engage with clients in a respectful and supportive relationship that honors their unique strengths and needs. Together we collaborate in identifying and understanding current concerns and developing treatment goals. Using evidence based therapy, I guide clients as they develop the skills and insight to resolve their challenges and move forward in a positive and healthy way.
