I specialize in healing relationships with self and other, whether they are painful, confusing, or just plain unsatisfying. If you're "going through the motions," you've lost yourself, your anxious mind is driving you crazy, or if you can't decide whether to stay in that relationship or leave. I'll help you learn to manage those difficult emotions and confusing situations so that you can move through those life transitions and issues with a greater sense of confidence and ease.

After many years of private psychotherapy practice in Orlando, Fl. I have moved my practice to beautiful Western Mass to be near family. I am accepting referrals at my Northampton location for individuals, couples and families interested in healing, learning and growth. I also offer teaching/therapy Intensives for couples, which are ideal for relationships which are struggling or strong. My philosophy about therapy and life is that we all have the capacity to reach our potential and that sometimes we need help in the form of therapy or coaching or support to assist us in this endeavor.

I practice from a trauma informed and relational cultural perspective that places high value on the relationship between therapist and client. Through an authentic, mutual, and collaborative approach I help my clients focus on the history of their relationships and how these relationships have lead to growth and fulfillment and/or isolation and suffering. I view every person as inherently whole and thus aim to lighten the emotional burdens that leave individuals feeling incomplete, broken, and/or dispirited.

I believe that every person makes sense in context. You might wonder why you often feel anxious, unfulfilled, or discontent. You might be curious about the patterns in your relationships or your reactions to others or events. You may wish to explore the ways you feel simultaneously connected and disconnected from yourself or the world. We will work together to expand your feelings of aliveness and acceptance while also helping you to more flexibly express needs, manage emotions, and deepen relationships.

I truly believe that psychotherapy is a collaboration and fostering a strong therapeutic relationship is imperative. I make it a priority to spend time building a quality rapport which helps me gain an understanding of who you are, how you receive information, and how I can be most helpful. I offer a warm, safe, and supportive environment, and incorporate modalities such as CBT, DBT, and SFBT. I strive to help adolescents and young adults identify and express emotions, navigate expectations, create identity, and live life in a more fulfilling way. My passion is working LGBTQIA+ individuals.

My approach is warm, playful, and relational. I work with children and teens whose stories are in the making; stories that are stored in their bodies and minds; stories that are played out through behaviors and actions. I help interpret behaviors as we work towards change and healing. I engage with children, adolescents and families when something feels “off”, when something bad, sad, or scary happens. Together we work on regulating feelings, thoughts, and experiences in our body. You learn to become more attuned to each other and connect.

There are many reasons that people seek out therapy. Now Accepting New Clients As the owner of Center for Perinatal Wellness, I believe when a mother struggles, the whole family does also. I specialize in perinatal mood complications, such as Postpartum Depression and Anxiety. A new child changes so much about how a family functions and sometimes families need some help navigating those waters and I am happy to help you do just that. We use CBT, DBT, EMDR in the therapeutic approach, but never encourage a path that a client isn't comfortable with.

My years of experience enables me to offer effective outpatient, individualized, clinical therapy. I provide supportive space to individuals, families, and couples. I specialize in treating people for anxiety, depression, recovery from trauma, grief, substance abuse, school phobia, learning disabilities and neurological and cognitive differences. As an adjunct to traditional talk therapy, I am certified in and use the following techniques to enhance treatment as needed: Clinical Hypnosis, Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping) and ear acupressure as part of therapy sessions.
